Research Interests and Current Projects:
His research is in materialist rhetorical theory, media theory, and theories of technology. His current book project considers the intersection of media art activism and public rhetoric, to argue for a new materialist understanding of radical politics.
Stagliano’s films and videos have been screened in festivals, galleries, and commercial distribution around the world. His feature narrative film, Fade, is in commercial release, and he is expanding into a feature a recent short, called The New Commons, which was screened as a part of Art Basel Miami.
