The English Department at New Mexico State University invites applications for a full-time college track Assistant Professor in English, with a specialization in Technical and Professional Communication to begin in the Spring 2022 semester. This is a regular, 9-month, non-tenure-stream faculty position. The successful candidate will teach four courses per semester in the general education Writing Program, primarily technical and professional communication, with other opportunities to contribute to general education. We are interested in candidates with online teaching experience and those with experience in the industry and knowledge of best practices in professional/technical communication. We are also interested in candidates with experience teaching writing in the NMSU system or geographical/cultural region.
