The Nelson Boswell Reading Series featuring Phillip Hurst

La Sociedad Para Las Artes at New Mexico State University kindly invites you to an afternoon reading featuring novelist and memoirist Phillip Hurst at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, October 15th, 2021, outside Clara Belle Williams Hall, in the square.

 Phillip Hurst’s writing has appeared in publications such as The Missouri Review, Gettysburg Review, River Teeth, Reed Magazine, Cimarron Review, and The Doctor T. J. Eckleburg Review. His essay collection, Whiskey Boys, won the 2021 Monadnock Essay Collection Prize, while his book of narrative nonfiction, The Land of Ale and Gloom: Discovering the Pacific Northwest, is forthcoming from Unsolicited Press. A novel, Regent’s of Paris, is forthcoming from Regal House Publishing.
