NMSU offers a Graduate Minor in Gender and Sexuality Studies for Masters Degree candidates (9 credits of coursework in Gender and Sexuality Studies) and for Doctoral Degree candidates (12 credits of coursework in Gender and Sexuality Studies)
1) Required core course: GNDR 571, Advanced Seminar in Feminist and Queer Theories (3 credits)
2) For a Masters Degree candidate: 6 additional credit hours from graduate Gender & Sexuality Studies courses; may include GNDR sections that are cross-listed with courses in other departments/programs (9 credit hours total)
3) For a Doctoral Degree candidate: 9 additional credit hours from graduate Gender & Sexuality Studies courses; may include GNDR sections that are cross-listed with courses in other departments/programs (12 credit hours total)
