Minor

The English department offers a 9-credit graduate minor in English for students across campus who wish to pursue an adjacent area of specialization in English. Any 9 credits of courses taken in the Department of English numbered 500 and higher may count towards the graduate minor in English.

Students pursuing a graduate minor in English may wish to specialize in an area of English study, such as rhetoric and professional communication, literature, creative writing, or composition pedagogy. Alternatively, they may wish to select courses across these fields for a broader experience of English studies.
