Rhetoric and Professional Communication Faculty

The Rhetoric and Professional Communication faculty study a wide range of subjects related to writing and communication. Our research interests include rhetoric, composition and writing studies, literacy, cultural studies, digital media, intercultural communication, technical/professional communication, and documentary film. We are active teacher-scholars, publishing in journals such as Rhetoric Review, enculturation, College Composition and Communication, Computers and Composition,Technical Communication Quarterly, and the Journal of Hispanic Higher Education. We regularly present at national and regional conferences, often in collaboration with our graduate students. We are dedicated to sharing our expertise with students through the courses we develop and the mentoring and advising we do, and the research and publication with which we engage with individual students.
