Biographical Statement

Dr. Gina Lawrence (she/her) is College Track faculty in the General Education Writing Program and a Digital Fellow in NMSU Digital Learning Initiatives. She holds a PhD in Rhetoric & Composition and a graduate certificate in Gender Studies from The University of Texas at El Paso. Her teaching focus is in technical communication, where she teaches engaging writing courses with practical application for students in the STEM fields. She also occasionally teaches in the gender studies program. Her research and praxis focuses on digital learning, where she works with students and faculty who want to succeed in the ever-evolving online learning environment. She also has extensive experience in Writing Center leadership.
