Connecting Mac/PC to Projector

1. Connecting Mac to Projector

  • Click on Apple menu
  • Select System Settings
  • Click on Displays under Desktop & Dock
  • Click the dropdown bar beside the built-in display
  • Select the cbw121-projector to project your screen.

Note: The projector needs to be on for it to connect. To switch it on, flip the button at the back.

2. Connecting PC to Projector

Follow these steps If you have the ‘Wirelessly Display’ feature downloaded.

  • Make sure you are connected to the same WIFI as the projector (AggieAir).
  • Click on Settings
  • Select Devices
  • Select Bluetooth & other devices
  • Click Wirelessly Display or Dock
  • Select the cbw121-projector to project your screen.

Or

  • Press the window key + P to see the projection menu on the right side of your screen
  • Click on Connect to Wirelessly Display
  • Select the cbw121-projector to project your screen.

Follow these steps if you do not have the Wirelessly Display feature downloaded.

  • Go to Settings
  • Click on System
  • Click on Projecting to this PC.
  • Click on the Optional Feature button.
  • Click on Add a Feature button.   
  • Check the Wireless Display
  • Click on Install and wait a few moments to complete.
  • Click the Back button.
  • Use the dropdown bar on each instruction step to modify the settings.
  • Exit the Settings
  • Press the Windows key  + P to see the projection menu on the right side of your screen
  • Click on connect to Wirelessly Display
  • Select cbw121-projector to project your screen.
