Literature faculty research interests are broad, including the poetry and drama of the English Renaissance, Victorian literature and culture, modern American poetry, late medieval religious writing, American ethnic literatures, and 20^th– and 21^st-century American film and literature, and representing a wide variety of theoretical perspectives including materialist cultural theory, feminist theories, cultural studies, and queer theory.
